Born and raised in Chicago Illinois,
DJ Puff Dragon was seen as a musical prodigy at the age of 5. This big influence came mainly from his mother who went to school with some of the most popular R&B artists and DJs to come out of the city of Chicago!
Her vast and rare collection of Lp’s, 12inches and 45’s are a tribute to what she has passed on to her son. After moving to Virginia and spending summers back in forth between Chicago, he started taking djing seriously at the age of 15. Puff stayed on the grind after high school and did a brief stint in the military while working street promotions part time. This eventually landed him a intern at Loud Records and a future 3 year postion at BMG Distrubution.
His Dj influences include DJ Scratch, DJ Jazzy Jeff, JMJ, DJ Cash Money, DJ Bee, DJ Strez, DJ Hipp, DJ Que. Puff is also a Member Of The World Famous DJ Crew BumSquaddjz.
Through hard work and paying dues DJ Puff Dragon has went on to work and do shows with the likes of Bad Boy Ent, Joe, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan, Yung Joc, Rich Boy, NORE, Biz Markie, Little Brother, Kev Brown, Naughty By Nature, 112, Monica, Katt Williams, Arnez J, Bruce Bruce, DL Hughley, Mo Nique, Rickey Smiley and many others in the entertainment industry.
Puff Dragon continues on his grind djing clubs and shows worldwide. He continues to help up and coming DJs such as DJ D Hawks, DJ Precise, DJ Illmatic and others make a name and brand for themselves in this DJ world!
