The GZA/Genius of The Wu-Tang Clan releases his classic gold-selling sophomore album, “Liquid Swords”, on Geffen Records, on this day in 1995.
Wu-Tang founder, and self-proclaimed Abbott, The RZA would produce the album with some assistance by 4th Disciple.
The album considered by most as one of the best solo Wu-Tang albums ever, spawned the hit-singles “Cold World”, “Shadowboxin’”, “I Gotcha Back” and the classic title track.
“Liquid Swords” would feature guest appearances by fellow Wu-bangers such as Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, KIllah Priest, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, U-God and the late ODB.
