On July 24th, 1999, Treach of Naughty by Nature married Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt-n-Pepa.

• Naughty by Nature formed in East Orange, New Jersey when Treach met Kay Gee in high school. They dubbed themselves The New Style and began performing at local talent shows.
• Queen Latifah discovered Naughty by Nature — which had become a trio with Vinnie — and helped them land a deal with Tommy Boy. Their 1991 self-titled debut went platinum on the strength of the mega-hit “OPP.”
• Naughty scored another platinum hit with “Hip Hop Hooray,” from 1993’s 19 Naughty Three. 1995’s Poverty’s Paradise netted them a Grammy award for Best Rap Album.
• In 1999, Treach and Pepa were married by Reverend Run, but they broke up two years later.
• After the commercially disappointing 19 Naughty Nine: Nature’s Fury, Kay Gee departed to focus on a production career. Treach and Vinnie released an album as a duo, IIcons, in 2002.
• Treach has carved out an acting career with a bit part in the Tupac-led drama Juice and minor parts in The Meteor Man, Who’s the Man and Jason’s Lyric. He also had a recurring role on the HBO prison series Oz during the mid-’90s.
• In 2006, Naughty by Nature reunited for the single “Get to Know Me Better”, featuring Pitbull. In 2010, they released Naughty by Nature: Tha Mixtape, and this past December they put out their seventh studio album, Anthem Inc.
