The Legacy of J Dilla is slated to premiere on FX on Friday, April 7th, before rolling out to Hulu the next day. The New York Times calls it “an intimate portrait” of the influential producer that covers both his musical rise as well as the battle for control of his legacy in the wake of his death.
The Legacy of J Dilla was produced and directed by Christopher Frierson and Esther Deer.
