There are some voices you come across in life that are hard to forget. <\/b>Myra Smith Wright<\/strong> has one of those voices.\u00a0 The Myra Smith Experience<\/strong>, (affectionately known as the MSE) includes Myra\u2019s lead vocals complemented by background vox and a talented live band. They\u2019ve been wowing crowds up and down the East Coast since 2009. I first heard Myra\u2019s powerful voice at VA\u2019s famous open mic \u201cFuzzy Wednesdays\u201d singing a Jill Scott medley.\u00a0 Myra is well known and loved for her passionate performances of both originals and covers. So when I got her latest single in my Brown Sugar inbox, I was expecting something along those lines. Yoooo I was in for an amazing surprise. So much so that I had to look up and make sure I was playing the correct link lol Myra\u2019s new track \u201cCrazy\u201d is upbeat, raw, and colorful.<\/strong> While the song\u2019s story line of a lover scorned\u00a0 and out for revenge isn\u2019t new,\u00a0 her take on it is fresh! I don\u2019t plan to go all Angela Basset in Waiting to Exhale BUT if I was this would be my riding music!! The song is written and produced by VA\u2019s own D\u2019Nik<\/strong> and is definitely Brown Sugar<\/strong> approved.
