January 25th – Method Man And Redman release the smash hit single “Da Rockwilder” on Def Jam Records, on this day in 2000.

“Da Rockwilder”, which was produced by Rockwilder himself, was from Meth and Red’s platinum-selling debut duet album “Blackout!”

If I may explain the whole concept, @Egotthejazz and I wanted to do a Do-Over style party in VA.  We came up with #FreshFriday were we’ve had guest from ?uestlove, Stretch Armstrong, 9th Wonder, DJ Rholi Rho, Red Alert and more come rock with me on the same stage.  We’re celebrating 2 years of that event also it’s our 2nd salute to J. Dilla #TheOfficial …it’s a pleasure to be on the stage with 3 great producers (I can only make beats on the lunch table) and DJs.  We will celebrate the life of Dilla and Fresh Friday!
